We do recommend the beginners PLUS as this gives you the access to practice three times a week - which is ideal for seeing the best results.


It also gives you the chance to try different classes on the timetable to see what type of yoga suits you best.

Beginners Courses: A shtanga

This is an ideal starting point if you have never done any yoga or are returning after a long break. Join us on our 8 week Introduction to Ashtanga Yoga course, learning its concepts and benefits for health and overall fitness. Ashtanga is a set sequence that is commonly available in yoga studios all over the world.


It will help to calm the mind and increase your mental abilities. We will look at how yoga can help you to de-stress, lose weight and gain flexibility by consistent practice.


You will learn basic yoga poses, sun salutations, standing yoga postures. We will also look at breathing exercises and enjoy a deep relaxation in each session to benefit the whole body. It slowly takes you through the basics with lots of practice and variations given to suit all levels.


Student Experiences

After practising yoga as a fitness class in my local gym for a couple of years, I decided to give it a go and look for a beginners course. Following a trial class at the studio, I fell in love with the location and the atmosphere so decided to sign up for the Ashtanga Beginners Level 1 Plus which is a great way to join the complementary classes and get a taste of the various types of yoga offered by the studio. The course is structured really well.  At the beginning of the class there is a short discussion of aspects of yoga other than the physical practice, which are also mentioned in a weekly follow up email.  During each class, Sarah goes over a few of the standing postures of the primary series, explaining the anatomy and any alternative adaptations.  Once I completed Beginners 1, I didn’t hesitate to sign up for the Beginners Level 2 which familiarises you with additional postures of the primary series and goes deeper into the concepts that were previously introduced in Beginners 1. I really enjoyed the two Beginners courses, and wished there was a third!  I couldn’t recommend the courses highly enough: Sarah is a great teacher, she is very knowledgeable and attentive, whilst her enthusiasm is contagious!  Be careful though…you might become a yoga addict!

Beginners Aerial Courses

We are so excited to be able to announce the arrival of our new Aerial Yoga program, starting in September. We recently completed our in house Aerial Yoga teacher training, which was so much fun! We just know you will love it too.


Rose will be teaching the Aerial Yoga courses, assisted by the lovely Nardina.


So, heres how it works....


  1. Choose Beginners Aerial Yoga Strength or Beginners Aerial Yoga Stretch more info on the course content & pricing can be found here

  2. Choose a time slot that suits you (our courses run for 4 weeks)

  3. Come and play <3


Once you complete your beginners Aerial Yoga course, you are then able to attend the Aerial Yoga improvers classes. It is a prerequisite to complete a course of your choice before you attend the regular class.
